順天堂大学泌尿器科では、骨盤内解剖、ロボット前立腺摘除術の理解のために、PBLコースを導入しています。医学生は、3Dプリンターで作成した骨盤モデルのなかに、臓器を三次元的に作成し、ロボット前立腺摘除術の手術手順を再現し、手術合併症の生じる理由などについて考察を行ないます｡このPBLコースを通して、医学生は比較的容易に、解剖学的理解と外科手術の理解に影響を与える可能性があることを認識することが可能となりました。 In Juntendo University Urology Department, we introduced PBL (problem based learning) course using a three-dimensional printed pelvic bone. The medical students create and learn three-dimensional anatomy in the retroperitoneal space, then they following the surgical steps of radical robotic prostatectomy using the 3D model which they made. Through this PBL course, we have realized that this method may have impact for understanding of anatomy and understanding surgical procedure.
